A Robust Control Chart for Monitoring Autocorrelated Multiple Linear Profiles in Phase I

چکیده

Many problems do not have one or more variables that determine quality characteristics. In these situations, as a solution method, profile is descibed by linking independent to the response variable. One of common assumptions in most monitoring schemes assumption residuals. Contravention this can lead misleading results control chart. On other hand, when data are contaminated, classical methods estimating parameters perform well. Such situations require robust estimation methods. Hence, paper proposes method estimate process for Phase I autocorrelated multiple linear profiles. The developed chart appraised absence and presence contaminated through comprehensive simulation studies. showed estimator decreases impact on performance proposed all outlier percentages shift magnitudes. Generally, three scenarios, including outliers model error variance, approach performs better than comparative method.

Phase-I monitoring of standard deviations in multistage linear profiles

In most modern manufacturing systems, products are often the output of some multistage processes. In these processes, the stages are dependent on each other, where the output quality of each stage depends also on the output quality of the previous stages. This property is called the cascade property. Although there are many studies in multistage process monitoring, there are fewer works on prof...

A Self-starting Control Chart for Simultaneous Monitoring of Mean and Variance of Simple Linear Profiles

In many processes in real practice at the start-up stages the process parameters are not known a priori and there are no initial samples or data for executing Phase I monitoring and estimating the process parameters. In addition, the practitioners are interested in using one control chart instead of two or more for monitoring location and variability of processes. In this paper, we consider a s...

Providing comprehensive control chart for monitoring of linear and nonlinear profiles using functional data analysis.

Considering profiles as functional variables, two control charts are proposed for their monitoring in phase II. Due to its conformity with the nature of real-world profiles, applying functional model leads to proposed control charts obtained through functional data analysis techniques with desired features. These include simplicity in calculation and possibility of using them for different prof...
